Changes Everything
I was only 12, going on 13, when I met them. They were an unbeatable team, out to save and exterminate their home from the duel gangs that dominated every district in the Satellite Sector. I had never heard them at the time, even though everybody else had. They were feared by all of the duel gangs, and those who weren't scared enough,
were set straight.
They were not merciful, and they wouldn't stop at anything until everything was met to their satisfaction.
They were…
Team Satisfaction.
And they were the most toughest, ruthless, and fearless dual gang in the Satellite Sector.

It all started when a member of the dual gang, The Wizards, ambushed me in a broken street and snatched my card, Baby (the card’s “name”) from my deck. I love that deck, and NO ONE could touch it except for me. And kidnapping a part of it was down right dirty and unacceptable.
It meant retaliation.

I was young, not very tall. I had white hair that would reach to the end of my back if I let it out of it’s high ponytail. I had a dirty white shirt that went to my elbows, with two strings attached to ends of the sleeves. I had dirty white capris that reached to my knees and had two strings that dangled on the sides at the ends. I also had dirty white sneakers that were tied in crude bows. I have large brown eyes, and pale skin.
My name is Brianna Whitewillow.

I didn’t have a duel disk, so I couldn’t duel them to get my Baby back. So, I eavesdropped on some locals of the Fleet District, their turf, to see if anyone knew about the Wizards infamous secret hideout. I thought it would take a long time to find out where it was, since people seemed to say it was impossible to find. But, after three days of staking out, I got a lead. I overheard an old man talking to a hip-hop looking guy in an alleyway. I hid behind a trash can so they couldn’t see me. The old man exclaimed excitedly, “Hey, those wizard guys said they could hook me up with some cards they ‘found.’ Even got a couple rare ones too!” The hip-hopper guy whispered, “Well, duh! It’s not like they paid for them! They swipe cards from people, remember?”
“Well, they said they can hook me up with more if I meet them over at their base, you know, that old abandoned factory down near the other side of town?”
“Yell a little louder, I don’t think they heard yea in Neo Domino City!”
I quickly scurried away. Despite my all-white appearance, people didn’t seem to notice me. ‘This was easier than I thought.’ I happily said to myself.
Me and my big mouth.

With my brown duffle bag in tow, I walked on towards the abandoned factory. By the time I got there, it was dark and the moon was full. I managed to go on the side of the building and crawl through a hole, hidden by some dead bushes. I scurried around behind big pieces of machinery.
Finally, I found those thieves, hustling a oranged haired dude. I hid behind a big piece of machinery next to the wall. I wanted to help, but they were three of them, way bigger than me. Plus, I was on my own mission, and trying to help him would either get me captured or, even worse, they’d steal my entire deck! They threw him up against the wall. They threatened him while the stupid leader watched and chuckled. I wanted to punch him in his ugly face. They smirkingly said, “No one’s gonna save you, this hideout’s a secret!” I rolled my eyes, ‘Yeah, you guys are so good at keeping it that way too.’ I sarcastically thought. Then the orange haired dude started to chuckle. “That’s what you think, pal.” They all looked over to one side. I couldn’t see what they were looking at because the stupid chubby guy with the green hair was in the way. They demanded panically, “What is that thing?” The orange haired dude chuckled again. “It’s a transmitter.” The longed haired wizard demanded, “What’s it transmitting, buddy?”
“It’s transmitting our location!”
The fat guy started to panic, “What do you guys think? We should scram, right?”
Then all of a sudden, the wall burst open, pieces of concrete flew everywhere! I covered my eyes. When the winds died, there stood three dark silhouettes. The Wizards screamed at the sight of them and ran away. In the confusion, one cut the power. I could barely see anything! ‘Oh, great!’ I thought. I saw two dark figures, one guy was the flame haired guy, and the fat guy. He summoned a bird monster. The duel started.

It didn’t last very long. Flame guy called his last attack. The fat guy’s life points went to zero. I didn’t see it, but I heard a ‘Bloop’. Then, a shock wave came from the flame guy and blew up the fat kid’s duel disk. It was awesome! I didn’t really think about how he did it, though. But I had never seen anything like it. And it scared me. What if they found me? What would they do? I shook my head. ‘I have to find Baby! And i’ll do it without them finding me.’ I sighed inwardly, ‘Yay. More people to avoid. Fun.’

I quickly started to maneuver through the room in the dark. I tried to be careful. You see, i’m clumsy and trip over things easily. Being in the dark was no help with that either. I snuck past the flame guy’s dark figure. He didn’t even notice. I scurried past his other buddy, but I couldn’t make out any obvious features. He was battling the boss of the Wizards. But, I knew the stupid bathroom robe wearing wizard boss didn’t have my Baby. The girl wizard was the one who ambushed me and snatched him from my deck. The thought of it made me grind my teeth together. I was mad at myself for letting my guard down. I swore to myself that I would get my Baby back. My deck was my family, and you don’t mess with them. ‘I’m gonna get you back, Baby, I promise.’ I thought determinedly to myself.

I swerved in between machines and corners. I snuck by another one of the flame guy’s buddies, only I could see him completely because he was standing in the moonlight. It was shining through some windows on the sides of the building. He was tall, had purple eyes that looked like they could rip out your soul and blond hair that stuck up in the back. ‘OMG! HE HAS A CAPE!’ I thought in amazement. ‘AWESOME!!’ He was wearing the same brown, sleeveless jacket that the flame guy was wearing too. But that wasn’t as exciting as a stinking black CAPE! ‘Now I want one! But later, right now it’s time to find my Baby!’ He was battling the mullet wizard. Not my target. I moved on.

I finally found the girl wizard. But she was already battling another one of the flame guy’s friends. He had black, spiky hair with gold highlights, dark blue eyes that showed no emotion, and the same brown jacket as his buddies. I watched the duel from the shadows. “Junk Warrior! Attack with Scrap Fist!” He commanded with a wave of his hand. The monster shot up and attacked her monster, reducing her LP to zero. A long, metal rope thing that connected their duel disks became engulfed with electric currents. It traveled to the girls duel disk and in milliseconds after it reached it’s target, the duel disk exploded. The girl quickly grabbed her deck from the holster, yanked the smoking duel disk from her arm and ran away screaming. I saw the spiky haired guy pull his serious frown into a grin of victory. I smiled at him. ‘Way to go, guy…’ I looked into the direction the girl wizard ran away to. ‘Now, back to business.’ I was about to sneak away to ‘speak’ to that Harry Potter Wannabe, when I saw something on the floor where the girl wizard stood. I squinted and mentally gasped. It was Baby! I smiled in victory and joy. ‘BABY!’ I thought excitedly. Then my happy moment was crushed when the spiky haired guy bent down and picked up Baby off of the floor. I was heart broken. (Cue anime fall and anime tears.) ‘NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!’ I thought in agony. I was probably over reacting, but, hey, I over reacted a lot.
He looked at it with confusion. “This doesn’t go with her deck theme…” He mumbled. I mentally screamed at him, ‘That’s because HE’S NOT HERS!!!!!’ Then his friends came to meet him. The flame guy and the hard butt was with a grey haired dude with a huge grin. “Congratulations boys, we just freed the Fleet District from those magic freaks.” They all cheered in victory. I then assumed that guy was leader of this band of misfits. He settled down the gang and began to say seriously, “But these guys are only the beginning. We’ve still got a lot more duel gangs to take out before we bring the Satellite safe enough to meet our satisfaction.” They all nodded. Then the blue eyed guy stepped up. “Kiryu, sorry to interrupt you, but I found this on the floor after I finished the duel with the girl Wizard, it fell out of her deck when she grabbed her it from her duel disk.” He handed my Baby over to Kiryu guy. While he was looking it over, the blue eyed guy continued, “Normally it wouldn’t bother me, but… it didn’t match her deck theme at all.” He raised an eyebrow. “Yeah, I see your point.” He smirked. “You know what? How about keeping this as a trophy, to remind us how brutally we kicked their asses!” They all cheered in agreement. ‘WHAT!?!? A TROPHY!?!?! NO WAY!!!! THAT”S MY BABY!!! Alright! THAT DOES IT!! ENOUGH HIDING! IT’S TIME FOR ACTION!!!!’ I furiously thought. (Cue red fire in the background) I started to scream and I charged towards them.
